Biografia	Liliana is head of emerging market and Asia equities. She is a highly experienced portfolio manager and accomplished team leader, having managed equity strategies for more than 20 years. Liliana joined Newton from Wellington Management, where she led the development and management of various emerging-market strategies, including the Emerging Market Small Cap Discovery and Emerging Market Impact strategies, initially from Singapore and latterly from London. Liliana began her career as an emerging markets analyst at HSBC in New York, before spending 18 years at AllianceBernstein, where she was lead portfolio manager of the AB International Discovery Fund and the thematic AB Emerging Consumer Fund. She has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Universidad de Carabobo in Venezuela and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Outside of work, Liliana enjoys travelling and yoga. Biografia	Alex Khosla is a member of Newton’s emerging markets and Asia equities team. Alex joined Newton in 2022 to help manage global emerging markets and Asia portfolios. He joined us from Aikya Investment Management, where he was a research analyst covering global emerging markets. Prior to that, he was at Stewart Investors, and he worked previously with Paul Birchenough and Ian Smith at AXA Framlington, where he supported them in managing the firm’s global emerging markets funds. He began his career at UBS Investment Bank. Alex has a BA (Hons) in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford Univ

Biografia	Ian Smith is a portfolio manager for William Blair’s Emerging Markets Leaders strategy. Before joining the firm in 2024, he was a global emerging markets portfolio manager at Newton from 2020 to 2023. Previously, Ian was a global emerging markets equity portfolio manager at AXA Investment Managers, where he worked since 2012. Before joining AXA, Ian was a research analyst covering Asian financials at Matrix Group and a research analyst covering emerging market financials at Nevsky Capital. Ian is an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA). He received a B.A. in economics and politics from Durham University.

Biografia	Paul Birchenough is a portfolio manager for William Blair’s Emerging Markets Leaders strategy. Before joining the firm in 2024, he was a global emerging markets portfolio manager at Newton from 2020 to 2023. Previously, Paul was a global emerging markets equity portfolio manager at AXA Investment Managers, where he worked since 2011. Before joining AXA, Paul was a research analyst at Nevsky Capital. Before that, he held various roles at KPMG, including positions in corporate finance, transaction services, and audit. Paul is an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA). He received a BSc Hons in mathematics from Nottingham University.

Biografia	Julianne is a senior portfolio manager and Newton’s head of sustainable equities. As an experienced investor, she has been integral in identifying resources to support and enhance the integration of sustainability considerations into the firm’s investment practices. Julianne manages a selection of global and regional equity mandates. She is the lead portfolio manager for the BNY Mellon Large Cap Securities Fund, leveraging the global research team to deliver capital growth by investing in high quality US companies with strong positions in their industries. Julianne has led the Emerging Markets Research Fund since its inception in February 2014. She also serves as a portfolio manager for Newton’s Global Research Equity and Global First Decade Innovators strategies. Julianne joined Newton in September 2021, following the integration of Mellon Investments Corporation’s equity and multi-asset capabilities into the Newton Investment Management Group. Before joining Newton, Julianne was a senior portfolio manager and senior research analyst at Mellon Investments Corporation and The Boston Company Asset Management (both BNY Mellon group companies). Prior to joining BNY Mellon, Julianne was an equity analyst at State Street Research & Management. Julianne has a BS in Finance from Lehigh University and an MBA with a Financial Management track from MIT Sloan School of Management.

Prior to joining the firm in 2007, Jay was a manager at Deloitte Consulting working with global Fortune 100 clients in Mexico, Brazil, Europe and the US. In this capacity, he worked with a global auto manufacturer for an extended period remotely managing an offshore team based in India. He holds the CFA® designation and is a member of the CFA Institute.

Biografia	Sean P. Fitzgibbon, CFA Executive Vice President, Senior Portfolio Manager Sean is the lead portfolio manager for the firm's Thematic Active Equity and Emerging Markets Equity strategies. Previously, he worked in research, covering Health Care, Consumer Discretionary, Consumer Staples, Financials and Utilities. Sean received a BS in economics from Northeastern University and an MBA from Babson College. He holds the CFA® designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society Boston.
