He joined Janus in July 1996 as a research analyst focusing on U.S. media, broadcasting, financial and technology companies, and became a portfolio manager in June 2000. From June 2000 to January 2008, Mr. Sachs served as portfolio manager of Janus Orion Fund and all related portfolios. Additionally, from February 2005 to February 2006, he served as Portfolio Manager of Janus Triton Fund and all related portfolios. Prior to joining Janus, Mr. Sachs was a strategy consultant with Bain & Company and prior to that worked as a securities attorney advising public and private companies on capital markets and general corporate matters.
