Biografia	Dan is the lead portfolio manager for the firm’s taxable municipal strategies. He manages several state-specific municipal bond strategies, including Georgia, Kentucky, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio and Tennessee, and related institutional portfolios. Dan also serves as portfolio manager for the inflation-protected strategy and national closed-end funds. Prior to his current position, he served as a research analyst covering the corporate-backed, energy, transportation and utilities sectors. Before joining the firm in 2000, he worked as an analyst at Banc of America Securities specializing in originating and structuring asset-backed securities. Dan received a BS in business from Miami University in Ohio and an MBA at the J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of the CFA® Institute and the CFA Society of Chicago. CFA® and Chartered Financial Analyst® are registered trademarks owned by CFA Institute.

Biografia	Mr. Solender is the lead portfolio manager of the municipal bond capabilities. Mr. Solender joined Lord Abbett in 2006 and was named Partner in 2008. His prior experience includes: Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Nuveen Investments; Principal and Portfolio Manager at Vanguard Group; Assistant Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Nuveen Advisory Corp.; Financial Analyst/Assistant Manager, Research and Product Development at Citibank. Mr. Solender received a BA from the University of Columbia and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He is the holder of a Chartered Financial Analyst designation and has been in the investment business since 1987.

Biografia	Parker is vice president and portfolio manager with Flagship Financial, Inc., his employer since 1994. Previously, he was senior vice president with PNC Bank. Parker has earned his Chartered Financial Analyst designation. He was born November 2, 1948.

Biografia	Jan joined Apex in 2000 and brings 28 years of investment management experience to the firm. Prior to Apex, Jan was a portfolio manager and sat on the Investment Committee at Dean Investment Associates from 1999 – 2000. Before Dean, he was Vice President, Portfolio Manager and Chief Market Strategist for Flagship Financial from 1992 – 1999. Flagship was purchased by John Nuveen & Co., for whom he managed several top-rated mutual funds. Prior to Flagship Jan was with Todd Investment Advisors from 1989 – 1991 and Union Central Life Insurance from 1985 – 1989. Jan has been quoted on MSNBC, The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, Kipplinger’s and other financial publications. He graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a BA in Economics From the University of Cincinnati. He also graduated Summa Cum Laude with an MBA from Xavier University.
